Go-Pro Football Academy based at Dubai English Speaking College (DESC) participates in several UAE leagues and enters  teams for every age group within our football Academy.

Go-Pro players have the opportunity to play in friendly and competitive matches against local and international teams. As a training and development football academy, Go-Pro’s main emphasis is on building the skill set of the individual. However, we believe it is important to have a balance between training and competition. Without competitive games our players are unable to reinforce their learning. They must be given the opportunity to try new things and learn from mistakes both in training and in competition.

Selection is based on two main criteria.

 

1. Ability – This is based on the Player Performance Indicators.
    

2. Commitment – This is based on the amount of training hours per week the player is taking part in with Go-Pro, each of our squad players are required to commit to a minimum of two trainings sessions per week.

Go-Pro Football Academy participates in both the Dubai Sports City League (DSC) and the Jebel Ali League (JAL). We also have a men’s team which play in the Dubai Amateur Football League (DAFL).

 

Go-Pro girls football academy in Dubai teams participate in the Girls Football League (GFL) with age groups from U12 to U16 in addition to our girls’ football team which competes in the Women’s League.
